Travis:

Hey guys, Travis Albritton here with Buzzsprout. I wanted to make this quick episode to let you know that podcasting real life is going on a hiatus. We're going to go on a break now. Season one was incredible. We had 35 interviews with podcasters that are hustling and finding success along the way, and I don't know about you, but I took away so many practicals from those conversations and even the bonus episodes that we started doing a little bit into season one in the summertime. Doing those quick behind the scenes Q and A's was a lot of fun for me and I hope that you took something out of it, but we're taking a break from this podcast because we want to focus our energy and intention on some really cool projects that we are cooking up and releasing in the back half of 2019 and I think you guys really going to be stoked when you see what we're putting out a as far as resources and content for you and helping you in your podcasting journey. But what should you listen to in the meantime, while podcasting, your real life is on a break. And while we're still in the middle of putting the finishing touches on some of these other projects for ruling out, what should you listen to? Well, if you're not already subscribed to the five minute Mondays podcast, you really should be every single Monday I share a quick and practical tip, trick or strategy to help you grow your audience and improve your podcast from everyone that I've talked to, whether it's in the Facebook group or doing these interviews across the board. I've heard from other podcasts, you're saying five minute Mondays is required listening. So don't just take it from me, take it from your fellow podcasters, uh, give it a shot. Listen to a couple of episodes and you'll see that, you know, just with five minutes every single week, you can work on your craft, become a world more well rounded podcast here and uh, and help grow your audience. So if you want to learn more about five minute Mondays, you can go to five m m. Dot buzzsprout.com and from there there's also links to listen to the podcast and all the major podcast apps. Now, another thing that you can listen to is our recently relaunched buzz cast podcast, which we started putting out new episodes in the beginning of July and we've gotten a lot of positive feedback about it. If you're not familiar with what we're doing with buzz cast every other Friday, Albin, who's the head of marketing for Buzzsprout, Kevin, one of the bus sprout co-founders in myself. We sit around and we chat about what's going on in the world of podcasting and we cover industry news strategies that are working for podcasters, specifically indie podcasters, you know, where you don't have a bankroll of hundreds of thousands of dollars in your marketing department. And then also new Buzzsprout features and updates. So this past episode we talked about 40 features that we rolled out with Buzzsprout a in the last work cycle in the last couple months. And so if you want to hear all the new stuff that we're doing with Buzzsprout, all the new features and updates, then buzz cast is where you're going to get that information the fastest. And so if you are interested in learning more about buzz cast, if you want to subscribe, you can go to buzz cast.buzzsprout.com and just like with five minute Mondays, there's links there for all the major podcast platforms. Now before you skip to the next episode in your queue, you should go and check out our new youtube channel. We've been putting up videos for the last several months since we revamped it and relaunched it. And now we've gotten to the point where we are posting two videos per week, which include gear review videos, software tutorials, and strategy videos. So if you're not tired of learning about podcasting, we're not tired of teaching you in our youtube channel is another great resource for you to hone your craft. Well, that is it for today. Thanks for listening. And as always, keep podcasting.
